The Trophy XLT 3-9x40 scope--which includes Bushnell's ultra-precise DOA 250 reticle--starts with fully multicoated optics, helping the scope create ultra-bright images at those troublesome moments between dark and almost dark. Bushnell also put the scope through rigorous recoil testing to ensure that its one-piece tube performs dependably in the field. And thanks to the Butler Creek flip-up scope covers, your scope's lenses will stay protected from precipitation and fogging.

The DOA 250 reticle is the scope's centerpiece, however, as it dramatically extends your effective range and helps you judge a buck's trophy quality in record time. Short for Dead On Accurate, DOA technology features Rack Bracket reference lines, which help you accurately gauge the size of whitetail and mule deer antlers at distances that are difficult for standard optics. Because these lines represent the distance between an average deer's ears, you'll know the approximate distance once the lines fit the image. It all adds up to drop-dead certainty and fewer excuses at the moment of truth. The DOA 250 offers aiming points from 100 to 250 yards in 50-yard increments, with the most common magnum loadings for in-lines (Bushnell also offers a DOA 600 for center-fire rifles).

Ideal for long-range accuracy and field judging, the Trophy XLT 3-9x40 is guaranteed to make your trophy room runneth over. Other details include a fast-focus eyepiece, 1/4 MOA fingertip windage and elevation adjustments, and a 100-percent waterproof, fogproof, and shockproof housing.
