With a maximum load capacity of 22 pounds the NGEH1 easily supports most cameras and is ideal for cameras using a large telephoto lens to capture wildlife at long range. With smooth, independent locks that let you tilt from +90 degrees to -90 degrees and pan a full 360 degrees, the NGEH1 gives you a wide range of camera shots. Innovative use of hydraulic technology creates a hydrostatic locking system that produces an extremely tight and stable lock with just a small turn of the nob. In addition, the NGEH1 is designed to move smoothly and easily, and its construction protects the ball area from dirt and grit even in the windiest conditions.

The NGEH1 also comes with the 3157N Rapid Connect rectangular plate (also available for purchase separately), which is outfitted with a 1/4-inch screw that fits most cameras. Together, the unit offers a high performance quick-release mounting system that you can set up and break down in an instant.
